Barbara Beebe

Barbara Beebe grew up on a farm in North Dakota and graduated with an art and design degree from the University of Minnesota. She did graduate work at Columbia University and taught art in public school. She is a jewelry maker as well as a fine artist, and has taught jewelry design at Virginia Commonwealth University and elsewhere.
Beebe has had solo shows in the Midwest and locally, at the Caldbeck Gallery, the Nan Mulford Gallery, and the Owls Head Transportation Museum. She has taken part in group shows at many local venues, including the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education, the Maine State Capitol, and the University of Maine at Augusta.
