Rachel Burgess

Rachel Burgess grew up in Brookline Massachusetts. She attended Yale University and received a B.A. in Literature, focusing her studies on the traditional British folk songs and ballads that she loved listening to as a child. Rachel currently lives in New York. She recently graduated from The School of Visual Arts with an M.F.A. in Illustration. Her senior thesis show was in 2007 at SVA, Westside Gallery. Rachel now freelances and teaches art.
